Delegation of the Jordan Nuclear Regulatory Commission visited Russia on October 14-15. It’s the chairman of the Commission, Khaled Toukan who was in the head of the delegation.

Delegation of the Jordan Nuclear Regulatory Commission visited Russia on October 14-15. It’s the chairman of the Commission, Khaled Toukan who was in the head of the delegation.
The first place to visit was the Rostov NPP. Members of the delegation saw the 3d power unit which is now under operation and the 4th one currently being constructed. The visitors also took a look at the control panel in the engine room and found out more about a special management system implemented in the complex engineering objects design and construction and based on MULTI-D technologies.

Next, the members of the delegation visited the Volgodonsk branch of AEM-Technologies Company of Atommash where they got acquainted with the process of production of the equipment for NPPs, as well as with quality control measures taken. The nuclear specialists also saw the shipment process of the reactor vessel for the first power unit at the Belarus NPP.

At the end of the visit Khaled Toukan noted that he was impressed by excellent work of Russian nuclear specialists and engineers.

The visit was organized by Rusatom-Overseas Inc within the framework of Russia’s and Jordan’s cooperation on the first Jordanian NPP construction.
