Congmen attacked

Jammalamadugu (Kadapa): With Minister for Handlooms and Textiles G Prasad Kumar as eyewitness, followers of Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy attacked Congress representative Vangala Nagendra Yadav and district party secretary B Chandramouli here on Wednesday. The seminar on Handlooms, being held under the auspices of MLA Adinarayana Reddy, has been organised here at MPDO office from 10 am on Wednesday and continued till 1 pm. Minister Prasad Kumar participated in the seminar. Meanwhile, Nagendra Yadav and Chandramouli came to Gandikota to invite the Minister for another meeting at Dommara Nandyal on the same day. The duo alleged that followers of MLA KK Konda Reddy, Mohan Reddy and Market Yard chairman Jagadeka Reddy and another 30 persons attacked them causing injuries. They demanded that the Minister to take the responsibility of the incident. Later, the two injured complained to CI Ravi Babu at the local Urban Police Station.
