Kadapa: The YSR Congress Party launched jail bharo programme in Kadapa town on Saturday for foiling party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s fast. Party leader and Rayachoti MLA Gadikota Srikanth Reddy and party district convenor Suresh Babu staged a dharna at One Town police station and raised slogans against the State and Central governments.
Kadapa Congress MLA G Veerasiva Reddy questioned how creation of Telangana will benefit the people when the interests of six-and-a half- crore of Seemandhra people are at stake. He visited the protest camps of JAC and teachers unions at the Kadapa Collectorate on Friday and expressed his solidarity with the supports of Samaikyandhra.
In Badwel town, Arya Vysyas and Samaikya JAC took out a massive rally with 950 feet long National Flag. Badwel MLA Kamalamma faced the wrath of the teachers as they demanded her resignation in support of Samaikyandhra agitation.
