Karimnagar: Superintendent of Police (SP) V Ravinder held monthly district-level crime review meeting with the police officials at District Police Headquarters here on Friday. Addressing the meeting, the SP said that the police should always be available to extend their services to the public. Referring to pending cases in the district, he announced that a sub-inspector (SI) and two constables would be appointed in every division to monitor the progress of the cases. A circle Inspector (CI) and 10 other police personnel would work at the district level to resolve the pending cases, he added. He directed the officials to conduct awareness programmes about 'Dial 100' service, which was launched on April 11, among the people across the district. The SP asked the officials to speed up investigation in SC, ST atrocity cases to ensure speedy justice to the victims.Additional SP Janardhan Reddy, DSPs of five divisions and others were present.
