Mahbubnagar: Governor E S L Narasimhan called upon farmers to cooperate with land survey campaign initiated by the TRS government.

The Governor, who visited the district on Monday, took part in the land survey programme at Nagasala.

Addressing the gathering, he said the land survey was being conducted very transparently and all farmers should extend their cooperation to the programme.

“The farmers should not have any doubts in the programme as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has initiated this task to mitigate farmers problems,” he said, adding that through land survey people would know how much land they own and there would be no problems in future.

Stating that the aim of the government in conducting the land survey was to avoid any future problems of the farmers with regard to their lands, the Governor said after the survey, village meetings would be held and people would be informed about the land details.

MP Jitender Reddy, Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy, MLA Srinivas Goud, District Collector Ronald Rose and other revenue officials attended the function.
