Following the directive of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Monday issued orders regularising the services of 2,718 Badli workers and 299 Badli Coal Fillers and temporary Tenning Mazdoor as General Mazdoor.

Kothagudem: Following the directive of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Monday issued orders regularising the services of 2,718 Badli workers and 299 Badli Coal Fillers and temporary Tenning Mazdoor as General Mazdoor.

The orders are being implemented with immediate effect, Chairman and Managing Director of SCCL N Sridhar stated in a press release on Monday.

The number of workers to become regular mazdoors in various areas of SCCL is: Ramagundam-I 699, Ramagundam-II 446, Mandamarri 426, Bhupalapalli 330, Srirampur 269, Kothagudem 266, Ramagundam-III 243, Manuguru 26 and Bellampalli 14.

After signing on orders, the CMD said the orders would be applicable to those workers who have enough attendance as on December 31,2016. The orders would be handed over to them in a day or two, Sridhar stated. The release further stated that the CMD also issued orders promoting 21 security guards as ‘Jamedars’.

Besides, the SCCL management is getting ready to implement all decisions announced by KCR at a review meeting in Hyderabad on Sunday. The release also stated that the divisions of personnel, civil, electrical, medical under the supervision of the CMD began the exercise to give effect to the directive of the Chief Minister.

The orders to regularise the Badli workers were issued within a day, as the first phase. The other directives of KCR are to be implemented in two or three days, the release stated.
