Paying glowing tributes to the Iron Man of India, the District Collector recalled the eminent services rendered by the leader in his capacity as the first Union Home Minister and also as the First Deputy Prime Minister.

In Godavarikhani, Ramagundam Police Commissioner Vikramjeet Duggal on Tuesday flagged off a 2K Run organised in association with Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The run commenced at the Singareni stadium and concluded at the Gandhi Chowk. He congratulated the participants and the stakeholders of the event.

Armed Reserve ACP Nagendrudu, Municipal commissioner Srinivasa Rao, CSB inspector Vijaya Saradhi, CIs Krishna, Vasudeva Rao, Venkateswarlu, Devareddy, SIs, police constables and others took part in the event.

At SCCL, in all areas of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited, unity oath was administered to officers and workers of the colliery in connection with the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

At the Hyderabad office of the SCCL, company director J Pavithran Kumar administered the oath to safeguard the unity and integrity of the country to officers and staff.

General managers B Kishan Rao, J Nagaiah, M Narasimha Reddy, G Venkata Ramana, administrative manager TPA Prem Kumar and others took the pledge.
