Awareness programme on mango farming today

Gadwal: The Horticulture Department of Jogulamba Gadwal is planning to organise one-day awareness programme to mango farmers at Pagunta village on December 28.

According to Somi Reddy, District Horticulture Officer of Jogulamaba Gadwal, leading Horticulture professors from Konda Laxman Bapuji University will take part in the awareness seminar from 10.30 am onwards and provide extension services and training to mango horticulture farmers about the necessary steps and precautionary measures to be taken for better yield of mango crops in the district.

“The training programme is a great opportunity particularly for the mango farmers. All the mango farmers from across the district are invited to take advantage of this programme. They can raise questions and clear their doubts about mango farming from the Horticulture scientists and leading visiting professors at the programme,” said Somi Reddy.
