Miscreants attack woman for gold, cash
Unknown offenders attacked a woman Shankarashetty Sowjanya of Chandrannakunta of Suryapet town on Tuesday late night with knives and demanded cash and gold jewellery. She suffered critical injuries in the incident, which reportedly took place when she was alone at her home.

The woman fought the offenders and successfully came out from the house and saved herself. In her testimony to the police, she said the offenders attacked her when she refused to part with her gold ornaments and some cash locked in the almirah.
Meanwhile, rumors have been doing the rounds over the incident. Police are allegedly expressing doubts over the entire episode with victim giving them different versions of the crime. Meanwhile, kin of the victim woman shifted her to Hyderabad for better medical treatment.
