Officials gearing up for 69th R-Day celebrations

Gadwal: The officials of Jogulamaba-Gadwal are gearing up to conduct the 69th Republic Day on a grand note in the district. As part of this, Joint Collector Sangeetha has directed all the departments to get ready with their achievement reports for the past one year. She has also directed the officials to select the best performing government officials who will be honoured on the Republic Day to be held on January 26th of this month.

Speaking at a meeting with the officials of all departments at Collector meeting hall on Wednesday, the Joint Collector gave directions to Roads and Building officials to ensure all the road works be completed before the Republic Day and also directed them to take the responsibility of erecting barricades and cleaning of gardens.

The Gadwal Municipality Officials have been asked to ensure pure drinking water is supplied to each and every ward and also directed them to keep the city clean and neat. The Officials of Electricity Department have been asked to provide round the clock power. The JC also directed the officials of all departments to get ready with a comprehensive report of all departments with details of their targets and achievements and the same need to be submitted to the Planning Department by January 17th.

“We are getting ready for 69th Republic Day celebrations as part of which all the department officials have been asked to submit their detailed report of targets and achievements. We are also planning to honour five best performing officials who have rendered utmost dedicated services for the welfare of the people,” said the JC.
