Mahbubnagar: Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy, while taking part in various development works in Pedda Adirala and Yekvaipally villages under Jadhcerla mandal, laid foundation stone for the construction of 32 and 24 double-bedroom houses under the two village limits respectively on Monday. While taking part at a school function in Pedda Adirala village, the Minister laid foundation stone for the construction of two additional classrooms and also promised to provide eight more additional classrooms to the school in the coming days.

Later, the Minister, while taking part at a programme to celebrate Shivaji Jayanti in Kavarammapeta village, gave away Rs 60,000 cheque to a beneficiary Sultana from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for expenses towards her treatment.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, “Shivaji was the true leader who had not only tried to expand his kingdom but also strived for the welfare and development of people. Our Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is also striving for the welfare of all sections of the society.”

The Health Minister said Jadcherla was leading in all aspects of development in the district and added that he was committed to transform Jadcherla as one of the most developed towns in the state. He promised that all the works would soon be completed in the targeted time and ensured fast development in the constituency.
