Gadwal: Even though the district administration has launched first of its kind Nivedana-Spandana mobile application to receive complaints and representations from public, more and more people are still approaching the district headquarters to lodge their complaints. In view of this, District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini had directed the officials to create more awareness on the app among the public.

While receiving more than 62 applications at the Collectorate as part of Prajavaani programme on Monday, the Collector advised the people to use the app as it was launched for their convenience. “Most of the people are still taking the risk of coming all the way to the district collectorate for lodging their complaints.

They can use the recently-launched Nivedana app and lodge their complaints from their own place. It is very easy, and accordingly their grievances will be addressed by the concerned department officials within a week’s period,” said the Collector.

Most of the complaints received at the Prajavaani programme were related to land disputes and all these could be resolved by the respective mandal revenue officials, observed the Collector.
