Protest over disrespect to Ambedkar statue

Mahbubnagar: Dalit Associations in Chinna Revally village under Balanagar mandal staged a protest against Ambedkar statue being covered by a veil by some miscreants in the village. According to Dalit Association, the Ambedkar statue was covered by a veil.

The miscreants had also defaced the statue slightly. “Some people are trying to create disturbances between the communities and trying to incite unnecessary violence by damaging the statue of great leader Amebedkar. They are trying to rake up sentiments of SC communities. We demand against miscreants,” said the leaders of agitating Dalit Associations.
