The representatives of the Dalita Girijana Sangham submitted the memorandum to the District Revenue officer Shiva Srinivas in this connection on the Grievances Day, held at Zilla Parishad Conference hall here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhadru Naik said it was not good to entrust the responsibility of organising the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr B R Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivanram to the people belonging to only one community.

The government was trying to create an impression among the people that both Dr B R Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivanram belonged to only one community by not involving the people belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minorities He demanded that the government give equal importance to the people belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minorities in organising the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr B R Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivanram. The representatives of the Dalitha Girijana Sangham B V Naik, Srinu, Nagaraju, M Ramaiah were present along with others.
