Kothagudem: Center of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) State vice-president Y Krishnaiah demanded that the government should regularise the services of all outsourcing and contract workers working in SCCL immediately.
He held a meeting with contract and outsourcing workers of Singareni Collieries Company Limited at Sathupally coal point here on Tuesday.Besides demanding rights for the workers, Krishnaiah alleged that the SCCL failed to make the senior workers permanent till date.
It is time for the government to implement its promises given during the union elections, he added. Union leaders K Sarveswara Rao, P Pramod, Bhasker, Venkanna, Kamala Rani and others attended the meeting.
