Damarcherla (Nalgonda): A tractor laden with haystack was reduced to ashes here on Wednesday. The loss was estimated to be around Rs 7 lakh.
According to the sources, a haystack-laden tractor from Ponugodu under Garidepally mandal in Suryapet district caught fire while going to Tallaveerappagudem under Damarcherla mandal in Nalgonda district. The accident happened when the haystack came in contact with overhead live wire when the tractor was crossing the railway track at Damacherla.The fire engulfed the tractor in no time. The driver sustained injuries.
