Kidnappers gang nabbed
A gang of five kidnappers, who tried to kidnap a businessman to extort money from him, was arrested by Palvoncha police on Thursday.

According to Palvoncha Deputy Superintendent of Police Srinivasulu, Hyderabad-based businessman A Prabhakar did business with Ravi as his partner. Later conflicts developed in their business and they split. With his friends’ support, Ravi planned to kidnap Prabhakar to get money from him.
As per the plan, the gang attacked the businessman, took the cash from him. They demanded him to pay Rs 30 lakhs, otherwise threatened to kill him.
Later the police during the regular vehicle checkup, found out one knife and Rs 2 lakh from the vehicle of the kidnappers. They seized the vehicle and took the five into custody, who revealed their kidnap plan during interrogation. DSP Srivinvasulu presented the kidnappers gang before the media at police station here.
