Yadadri: Minster for Endowment A Indrakaran Reddy here on Wednesday directed officials to complete the Yadadri temple development works by the end of September.

He was holding a review meeting with the officials. District Collector Anitha Ramachandran and Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha were also present at the meeting. He enquired the officials about the status of works concerning main sanctum, queue complexes, accommodation buildings, water facility and beautification works.

The Minister suggested that the officials develop Yadadri on the line of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam as instructed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He exuded confidence that all works with regard to main temple and retaining walls would be completed by the end of September at any cost.

After completion of renovation works of the temple, the Chief Minister would decide the inauguration date, he added Kings used to pay special attention to the development of temples in their Kingdoms. The Chief Minister is also paying special attention to development of historic temples in the State in the interest of future generations.

He expressed his happiness over the pace of works this year. Stating that a clear picture on the works of temple would emerge by the end of the July, he instructed the officials to complete retaining wall, gopuram and Shivalayam by July.

He examined the ongoing works of queue complex, Vratha mandapam, Shivalyam, Main temple and Gopuram works and expressed his pleasure over the progress of works. Before the commencement of review meeting, the Minister had darshan of Lord laxmi Narasimha Swamy and took blessing of temple priests. Priests of the temple welcomed him with purna kumbam.

MLC Krishna Reddy, Engineer-in Chief Ravinder, Road and Buildings Superintendent Eningeer Lingaiah, Executive Engineer Vasanth Naik, temple Executive Engineer Dayakar Reddy, Architect Anand Sai, RDO Bhupal Reddy and YTDA officials were present at the programme.
