Khammam: District Secretary of the Student Federation of India (SFI) T Naga Raju here on Wednesday demanded the officials Education Department in the district keep watch on the private and corporate educational institutions to ensure that they do not collect high fee from children.

The SFI district committee meeting was held under the leadership of the district president Chintala Ramesh here at SFI office in Khammam. Speaking at the meeting, Naga Raju alleged that the private and corporate educational institutions were collecting high fee on the pretext of admission fee, etc.

But, the officials feigned indifference, he said. He demanded that the officials take immediate action against erring private and corporate educational institutions. He warned the SFI would organise a massive agitation if the government failed to keep a check on private and corporate educational institutions.

SFI representatives J Ashok, B Hema Latha, P Govardhan, Gayatri, Sudhakar, Mahesh, Praveen, Chennakeshava, Swathi and Shyam were present along with others.
