Schools to reopen on 1 June
After the summer vacation the schools are going to be reopened on Friday, however, will run for only half days for few days because of hot weather conditions prevailing in the district. The Special Secretary of the School Education has issued orders in this regard.

The Education department has already got government school uniforms and textbooks ready for distribution to students. The district has 1,065 primary schools, 205 upper primary schools, and 145 higher schools located in 23 mandals. A total of 79,912 students are studying in these schools.
District Educational Officer D.Vasanthi conducted a meeting with all headmasters and incharge MEOs about the reopening of the schools here on Thursday in her office. She received the details of uniforms and textbooks to be distributed to the students in schools.
She also discussed the preparations regarding the State Formation Day celebrations to be conducted in schools. She also asked officials for decorating the schools for the celebrations. She said asked them to make the Badi Bata programme successful which will on June 4 to 8 in the district. She also asked them to wide publicity for the program in all villages.
