​Bhadrachalam: Everyone should to strive for giving pollution-free society to the next generation, said Integrated Development Agency Project Officer Pamela Sathpathy here on Tuesday.

She was speaking at an event organised on the occasion of the World Pollution Day celebrations conducted at ITDA office. On the occasion, a Clean and Green programme was conducted which was attended by the project officer, all unit officers and other staff members.

Sathpathy participated clean the premises of the office programme along with officials. She asked them to make wide publicity among the people for the awareness of the pollution. She said, we should avoid use of plastic items for a better society.

She directed officers to organize the Clean and Green office premises programme every week. Everyone has to do something for the prevention of the pollution in society, she added.

After the completion of the programme, a pledge was administered to the staff to strive for making the society pollution free. Deputy Director Ram Murthy, APO Bheem Rao, APD BalaRam and other unit officer participated in the program.
