Dy Speaker distributes 49 acres at 'Amma Hastham'

Khammam: Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka distributed land documents pertaining to 49 acres to 67 beneficiaries at Mudigonda Mandal Parishad Office in the district on Wednesday. The Deputy Speaker was the chief guest at the `Amma Hastham' programme held at the MPDO in Mudigonda. He said that the State Government had introduced the programme for the benefit of poor and downtrodden in the State. Later, he distributed land possession certificates relating to 49 acres to 67 persons as part of 6th phase of land distribution programme. He said that the State Government headed by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had also introduced Re-1-a-kg scheme for the benefit of white ration card holders. There are 18,116 card holders - 16,647 white ration card holders, 1,428 Antyodaya Anna Yojana card holders, 41 Annapurna card holders � in Mudigonda mandal alone. These card holders would be benefitted by various schemes, he said. He also inspected various development works in the mandal. Joint Collector Surendra Mohan, RDO Sanjiva Reddy, Tahsildar Prakash, MPDP Sanyasaiah and other officials were present.
