Vijayawada:The Gateway Hotel here on Thursday started Chennai food festival to tickle the taste buds of guests with delicious recipes. Addressing the media, hotel executive chef Somnath Das said that people of Vijayawada were food lovers and the hotel was bringing variety of recipes from different parts of the country to satisfy their appetite. He said that as part of the festival, dinner buffet would start from March 22 every day from around 7. 30 pm to 11.00 pm at the Bay Leaf restaurant with flavours of Chennai. He said that spicy, aromatic and mouth watering dishes would be offered for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. He said that they have the non-vegetarian dishes like Chicken Chettinad, Fish Varuval and vegetarian dishes. He said that they would serve Urlai, Elimirchai, Thakali, Kottho, sambar sadam and others for vegetarians. The dessert section has Eleneer, Semiya, roasted chikraai pongal, rawa kesari and others. He said that Chef Jabaraj had come all the way from Tamil Nadu, to offer delicious dishes at the food festival. Sales manager Shabul Hussain, food and beverage manager Nagesh and others were present.
