Gudivada (Krishna): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Gudivada constituency in-charge Ravi Venkateswara Rao has said departed MLA Ambati Brahmanaiah was a role model for politicians because of his close attachment with people. TDP leaders here on Tuesday paid rich tributes to the party senior leader Ambati who died at the age of 75 recently. The party town unit organised a condolence meeting at local office. TDP State leader CL Venkatrao and others garlanded the portrait of the departed leader and observed silence for a few minutes as a mark of respect to Ambati. Speaking on the occasion, Ravi said that in the death of Ambati, the TDP and people had suffered a great loss. The vacuum created by him was difficult to fill. He had maintained good rapport with people and was known for his value-based politics. He left an indelible impression on the hearts of the people, Ravi said.
