As per the sources, TDP leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao along with his supporters reached Bandar Road to launch hunger strike for Smaikyandhra . The police had earlier gave no permission for his protest near Bandar Road due to the Election code in force. The TDP activists and TDP leader’s supporters are staging a protest near the venue, demanding the release of their leader.
