Vijayawada: MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Saturday wrote yet another open letter to the Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu to change his party’s stand on the creation of Telangana State and support the Samaikyandhra movement. As the TD chief was scheduled to start his bus yatra from Guntur to support the agitating Seemandhra people, the Congress MP shifted blame on the TD chief for the present turmoil.

He said that the Congress Working Committee was forced to take a decision to divide the State as all political parties, including the TD, had given letters in its favour. He wanted the TD chief to withdraw the letter before starting the yatra in Seemandhra region. Rajagopal had earlier tried to meet Chandrababu Naidu during the latter’s Vastunna Meekosam Padayatra in Krishna district. He said he would give a letter to Naidu requesting him to withdraw the TD’s letter in favour of division of the State. He said that he was not allowed to meet Naidu at that time and now with the people of Seemandhra agitating against division of the State, he wanted Naidu to think again and reconsider the decision and support the demand for integrated State.
