TD claims Babu bus yatra a success

Vijayawada: The Krishna district Telugu Desam president and the Mylavaram legislator, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, here on Thursday claimed that the bus yatra of the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the district was a great success. Speaking to media persons, Umamaheswara Rao said that Chandrababu Naidu had succeeded in explaining the role of the Congress and the YSR Congress in the present crisis in Seemandhra region. He said that the Congress and the YSR Congress were totally exposed in creating problems for the Telugu people during the bus yatra.

He criticised the YSR Congress leaders Y S Sharmila and Samineni Udayabhanu for targeting the TD chief. He said that the YSR leaders were now trying to get bail for Jaganmohan Reddy. He wanted to know why the CBI had transferred its JD Lakshminarayana and DIG Venkatesh though the investigation was not completed. He said that the two officers have investigated the cases against Jaganmohan Reddy and filed chargesheets while the CBI had now transferred them exposing the nexus between the Congress and the YSR Congress. He also took exception to the silence being maintained by the Enforcement Directorate on the Jaganmohan Reddy’s case.

Claiming that the TD MPs were able to represent the voice of Seemandhra people in Parliament, he blamed the Congress ministers and the MPs for their silence. He alleged that the Congress MPs and Central ministers were sold out to the Congress leadership which had divided the State creating unrest. He said that the decision on Telangana was taken only to get more seats and thus make Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister. He felt that the Congress was indulging in day-dreaming and was playing with the lives of the Telugu people.
