‘Separate state for Rayalaseema’

Atmakuru (Kurnool): ‘Samajika Rayalaseema Rashtra Sadhaka Committee’ a newly formed outfit organised a massive rally here on Saturday demanding a separate state for Rayalaseema for its overall development. Dr Naganna, convener of Rayalaseema Vidyavantual Vedika, addressing the rally said that great injustice had been meted out to Rayalaseema during the last 60 years in the united state.

“Five chief ministers represented the Rayalaseema in the past but did little for the development of it,” he pointed out. He said that the ministers have been raising their voice for Rayala Telangana in Delhi only to protect their interest in Hyderabad. Dr Naganna alleged that only two castes have been dominating the political scenario in the state for the last 56 years and the people of SC,ST,BC and Minorities have been oppressed.

The leaders who have been exploiting the great natural resources in the Rayalaseema, have come out with united Andhra Pradesh slogan only to exploit further, he pointed out. Speakers said that the Rayalaseema would achieve overall development in irrigation, employment and other areas only through a separate state.
