Farmers give up benefits of Rythu Bandhu Scheme: #GiveitUp

Many farmers owned big chunk of lands are coming forward to give up the benefit under Rythu Bandhu scheme launched in Telangana on Thursday. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced Rs 4000 incentive per acre to every farmer who owned lands in every agricultural season.

Farmers are returning their cheques distributed to them to the local authorities and requested them to use the money for the welfare of poor farmers. Some of them raised doubts on the utilisation of money properly.

"This is the little Akshita who came forward yesterday to donate her kiddy bank savings of Rs. 30,000 to #RythuBandhu. She spoke eloquently about how Hon’ble CM’s initiative motivated her. Felicitated her on behalf of Govt and handed over the money to @Collector_RSL," KTR tweeted.
