Unable to deal with homesickness, an Intermediate first-year student committed suicide in Mancherial district on Tuesday evening.
The victim, Sankeerth, a son of a priest of the town was upset to leave his parents for studying Intermediate at a private college in Hyderabad.
Sankeerth ended his life at his residence at College Road in Mancherial when his parents were not present.
The body was shifted to Mancherial Area Hospital for postmortem.
Police have registered a case of suspicious death and investigation is underway.
