High tension prevailed for a while in the Undavalli area in Andhra Pradesh new capital Amaravati.

Police arrested farmers for objecting the establishment of high tension electric wires along their residential area.

A group of farmers also tried to consume pesticides as a mark of protest. Police foiled the farmers bid to commit suicide and arrested them immediately.
