BJP national president Amit Shah slammed KCR at the public meeting in Parakala that the chief minister is going for early polls to benefit his family. He also said that Congress and TRS cannot govern the state free from Majilis pressure adding that only BJP can fulfil the aspirations of the people.

Terming the reservations to the minority as unconstitutional, Shah said that BJP neither encourages such reservations nor allow anyone to do it. "BJP is committed to provide 50 per cent reservations to SC, ST and OBCs and will not allow anyone to deprive their quota," Shah said. He also said that KCR has pushed the revenue surplus state into the debt trap of Rs 2 lakh crore.

He also criticised the Congress party that it had not done anything to the country during its 70 years of the regime but the prime minister Narendra Modi has launched several schemes for the welfare of the people.

Shah also said the Congress party had accorded Rs 16,800 crore for the development of Telangana during the 13th finance commission, but the BJP has allocated Rs 1.14 lakh crore in the last four and a half years. "The BJP had given seven times more funds to the state compared to UPA government," Shah asserted.
