Telangana elections: Mohammed Feroz Khan, the Congress candidate for Nampalli Assembly constituency Hyderabad on Monday filed a petition in the High court urging it to install CCTV cameras and digital cameras in the polling stations in the constituency.
He insisted that the footage of this feed should be made available in the public domain and webcasting of the election process too should be done.
He wanted a direction to the chief electoral officers of Telangana to set up a special webpage and host a live streaming of poll process on it.
In a view of the highhanded and intemperate nature and actions of AIMIM leader in the constituency, he said there is a need to deploy central armed police force all over the area.
