The election campaign across the state has been ended today evening Besides restricting the campaigns in the state after 5 pm and 4 pm in the agency areas , the EC also imposed strict rules on the TV and social media campaigns
The election campaign across the state has been ended today evening. Besides restricting the campaigns in the state after 5 pm and 4 pm in the agency areas , the EC also imposed strict rules on the TV and social media campaigns.
The state is going for polls on December 7 for 119 assembly seats and the polling will be held from 7 am to 5 pm. Around 1821 candidates are in race for the assembly elections.
The Election Commission has readied 32815 polling centres in the state with Hyderabad on the top with 3873 centres and the least is Wanaparthy having 280 polling centres. Over 1.6 lakh election staff has been deployed by the EC.
Arrangements have been made in the polling centres for the elections by procuring 55,329 ballot machines and 42,751 VVPAT machines and 39,763 control units.
