Tension prevailed at Global Hospitals in Lakdikapool after a patient died over alleged medical negligence on Sunday. Osman Khan (78) was admitted in the hospital late on Saturday due to a lung-related illness.
The hospital doctors attended him and put on a ventilator. On Sunday afternoon, Khan died due to cardiac arrest and multi-organ failure. However, the family members of the patient vandalised the hospital alleging that Khan was dead due to the doctors' medical negligence.
Meanwhile, the Saifabad police pacified the patient's family members and brought the situation under control.
