Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday approved the appointment of 31 District Congress Committee presidents, 2 City Congress Committee presidents and one Working President of Khammam City Congress Committee in Telangana

Hyderabad: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday approved the appointment of 31 District Congress Committee presidents, 2 City Congress Committee presidents and one Working President of Khammam City Congress Committee in Telangana.

They include 12 BCs, 10 Reddys, 2 each from SC, ST, Kamma, Brahmin and Muslim communities and one member from Velama community.

The newly appointed DCC presidents, along with their district, are as follows: Bhargav Deshpande - Adilabad; Kokkirala Surekha - Mancherial; Ramarao Patel Pawar - Nirmal; Athram Sakku - Komarambheem Asifabad; K. Mruthyunjayam - Karimnagar; A. Laxman Kumar - Jagtial; Earla Komuraiah - Peddapalli; N Satyanarayana Goud - Rajanna Sincilla; Manala Mohan Reddy - Nizamabad; Kesha Venu - Nizamabad City Congress; Kailash Srinivas Rao - Kamareddy; Nairn Rajender Reddy - Warangal (Urban & Rural); Kedah Srinivas Rao (Katla) - Warangal City Congress; Gandra Jyothi - Jayashankar Bhoopalpally; Janga Raghava Reddy - Janagaon; Nirmala Goud - Sangareddy; Tirupathi Reddy - Medak; T. Narsa Reddy - Siddipet; P Rohith Reddy - Vikarabad; Kuna Srisailam Goud - Medchal Malkajgiri; Challa Narasimha reddy - Rangareddy; Obedullah Kothwal - Mahabubnagar; Shankar Prasad - Wanaparthy; Patel Prabhakar Reddy - Jogulamba Gadwal; Dr Ch Vamshi Krishna - Nagarkurnool; Cheviti Venkanna Yadav - Suryapet; B Bhikshamaiah Goud - Yadadri Bhongir; J. Bharath Chandra Reddy - Mahabubabad; K Shankar Naik - Nalgonda; Vanama Venkateswara Rao - Bhadradri Kothagudem and Puvvada Durga Prasad - Khammam.

While M. Anjan Kumar Yadav has been retained as president for Greater Hyderabad, Javeed has been appointed president and N. Deepak Chowdhary as Working President for Khammam City.
