Guntur: Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu said that the Kondaveedu Fort has historical significance and assured that he will develop the fort as international tourist centre and added that the government will develop eco-tourism at the fort.
He inaugurated the ghat laid to the hillock of the fort on Monday at historical Kondavedu Fort at at a cost of Rs.34 crore on the occasion of two day Kondaveedu Festivities valedictory programme. Speaking on this occasion,he said that if the fort is developed,it will attract more tourists and tourism will develop in the state capital Amaravati.
He reminded that late chief minister N.T.R.acted in the Kondaveeti Simham film, which brought recognition to the Kondaveedu . He explained welfare schemes like Annadata Sukhibhava to extend helping hand to the farmers. He allege that while he was trying to develop the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister KCR and YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy creating hurdles for the development of A.P and added that in spite of hurdles, he is developing the state.
