An exhibition of traditional crafts from North East India is being held at NSIC, Dr AS Rao Nagar. The expo, titled North East Crafts Fair, will go on till February 18. Organised by the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd and textiles ministry, the expo has cane and bamboo crafts, artistic textiles, wood carvings, jewellery, bells, and baskets.

Organised by the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd and textiles ministry, the expo has cane and bamboo crafts, artistic textiles, wood carvings, jewellery, bells, and baskets. Over 120 artisans are participating in the fair. Toys and dolls made of straw and clay, laishingfee (quilted cotton materials), famous kauna gras cushions, mattresses from Manipur, Endi silk weaves, pipeapple fibre articles of Meghalaya, etc are on sale.
