Matu Ram Arts Center holds workshop on Clay Modelling
Matu Ram Arts Center located in Manesar had a 90 pair of curious eyes on its campus , who were looking at the sculptures with wide eyes, gaping at their magnificence. The occasion was a workshop on Clay Moulding(the basic method used to make sculptures) organized for the students of Sushant School of Art and Architecture. The institute is a part Ansal University located at sector 54 Gurgaon.

Addressing the students Naresh Kumar, Artist, Matu Ram Arts Center said that through this session we want to introduce to the world of clay modelling. “Clay modelling is an alternative to wood and styrofoam and it can be used as a medium to make models,” said Naresh.
The session was organized to foster skill development in students and proffer clay moulding in the field of art. The entire event was received with an open heart by the students and was planned to attract children in this art form.
A second-year student from the institute Kavya was overwhelmed after visiting the institute. She said that she was very happy after visiting the center and that after her semesters she would like to intern there. “I love the art of making sculptures; here I had a firsthand experience of witnessing the art of making live sculptures,” said Kavya.
