2 Indians among 62 killed in Russian plane crash
It was the budget carrier\'s first crash since it began operations in 2009. In a statement, FlyDubai confirmed that Flight 981 crashed on landing and there were no survivors. Four children were among those killed, it said.
Two Indians are among the 62 people killed after a Dubai airliner crashed and caught fire early on Saturday while landing in strong winds in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.
Giving out the details about nationalities of those killed in crash of a FlyDubai Boeing 737-800, the Dubai Media Office said there were 44 Russians, eight Ukrainians, two Indians and one person from Uzbekistan.

The media office offered condolences on behalf of the entire United Arab Emirates for those who lost loved ones.On Twitter, the office said the entire UAE, a federation of seven emirates, offered "its deepest condolences to the families of the victims & to the Russian government & people."
A list published by the Russia's emergencies ministry showed the Boeing 737-800 operated by FlyDubai was carrying 55 passengers, most of them Russian, and seven crew members when it crashed.
It was the budget carrier's first crash since it began operations in 2009. In a statement, FlyDubai confirmed that Flight 981 crashed on landing and there were no survivors. Four children were among those killed, it said.
Vasily Golubev, the governor of the Rostov region some 950 kilometres (600 miles) south of Moscow, was quoted by Russian news agencies as telling local journalists that the plane crashed about 250 metres (800 feet) short of the runway.
The cause of the crash was not immediately determined, but Golubev said: "By all appearances, the cause of the air crash was the strongly gusting wind, approaching a hurricane level."
The Russian emergencies ministry said the plane clipped the ground with its wing and caught fire.
