Nalgonda: Police of Central Crime Station on Wednesday arrested four persons, who were involved in the alleged theft of two-wheelers, house burglaries and chain snatching cases in three separate places in the district. Addressing the media persons at police headquarters, Superintendent of Police Navin Gulati said S Rajani Kumar (35) and R Sateesh (24) were working as employees of a private company in ECIL, Hyderabad. The duo used to enter the houses on the pretext of seeking rooms for rent and rob the women, who were alone in the houses. They also snatched gold chains of women and cases were booked against them in Kushaiguda, Nalgonda and Miryalguda police stations. Police arrested the duo in Nalgonda and seized 50 grams of gold. Similarly, police arrested Kommineni Naresh (26) of Peddapalli in Karimanagar district. He allegedly stole 12 motorcycles and cases were booked against him in Kushaiguda, Nalgonda, Choutuppal, Nakrekal, Guntur and Tenali police stations. He was taken into custody in Nakrekal and police recovered 12 motorcycles. In yet another incident, police arrested notorious inter district burglar Sheik Rahim of Vastakonduru of Gundala mandal in the district. Police recovered 42 tolas of gold ornaments, 5 tolas of silver ornaments all worth Rs 12.5 lakh from his possession.
