Bangalore: As far as the auto rickshaw drivers are concerned, the Bangalore's commuters have never had much faith as they were known to obtain under duress money and bother passengers. Now, the BMTC bus drivers and conductors have also following the same lines of auto rickshaw drivers.

On Friday, on Route 201, a soft skills trainer aged about 23 years Andrea Anthony was beaten up and pushed off the Volvo bus by a BMTC conductor. It happened when the woman threatened to complain about the conductor’s rude behaviour to the police and the BMTC authorities.

When questioned the bus conductor, Venkataiah, whether he had given her the right ticket, the government employee was rude, slapped her around, and to compound it all, pushed her off the bus.

A case has been filed by the police and is now inquiring into the incident to figure out who was at fault and has summoned both Andrea and the conductor for questioning on Tuesday.
