Patna Blast Case: Four Key Suspects Arrested by NIA. In connection with the Patna Blast Case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made few more arrests on Wednesday.

Patna: In connection with the Patna Blast Case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made few more arrests on Wednesday. From Ranchi, as many as four suspects were arrested, including a person named Haidar. According to sources, Haidar is reportedly the head of the Ranchi section of the Indian Mujahideen, which has carried out the Patna blasts. The three others arrested in the case are: Mujibullah, Numan and Taufiq. From Sithio village on the outskirts of Ranchi, they have all been nabbed and arrested by the police.

According to sources, with the help of Tehsin Akhtar alias Monu, the number 2 in the Indian Mujahideen, these arrests were made. He has already been in the police custody. Akhtar was accompanied by the NIA team to Ranchi, added sources.

It is learnt that the NIA team was also allegedly attacked when it reached Sithio village. The local residents have claimed that the team was framing blameless people in this case. Imtiyaz, the first arrestee in Patna blasts case, is reportedly from the same village.

From the other end, NIA Chief Sharat Kumar said that Haidar was also suspected to have a hand in the Bodh Gaya blasts. It is worth recollecting that just ahead of the next Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hunkar rally as many as eight blasts were taken place in Patna in October 2013. In that incident seven people lost their lives.
