After Smriti Irani Now it’s Gopinath Munde. It seems that the Congress Party has focussed scrutiny on the educational qualification of the NDA cabinet ministers at the Centre.
New Delhi: It seems that the Congress Party has focussed scrutiny on the educational qualification of the NDA cabinet ministers at the Centre. There was a commotion over the qualification issue of Smriti Irani, the Union Minister for Human Resources Development, for past few days. Now, it is the turn of Gopinath Munde, the Union Minister for Rural Development. Shakeel Ahmad, the AICC Chief Secretary, sarcastically told that Gopinath Munde has completed his graduation in 1976 from the college that was established in 1978. He said the college he mentioned in his affidavit did not exist when the former reportedly completed the graduation.
It is worth mentioning here that Gopinath Munde has made it a mention that he completed BJL degree in 1976 from New Law College in Pune, in the affidavit submitted to the Election Commission’s returning official. Nevertheless, the website of that particular college mentions that it was established in 1978.
