Well, it's a known fact that the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's US visa was rejected several times by America for his involvement in the Godhra riots.

Now, the US is keen on inviting the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to India. Thanks to Modi's landslide victory in the elections not to mention his PR skills, he's being invited by every possible world in the country. Not to be left behind, even US President Barack Obama has sat up and took notice of the power of Modi. He even sent an invite to the Indian Prime Minister asking him to pay them a visit. Preparations are on in full swing to welcome Modi to the Western land.
