Modi’s 64th birthday today
PM Narendra Modi’s 64th Birthday Today. Narendra Modi alias Narendra Damodardas Modi, the 15th and present Prime Minister of India, was born on the same day in 1950. So far, whosoever might have been assumed the position, they all were born before India’s independence. Nevertheless, Modi is the first Prime minister to be born after Indian Independence.

Before assuming the Prime Minister’s office, Modi has also served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat state from 2001 to 2014. In the recently concluded general elections, Modi was elected to the Lok Sabha both from Varanasi and Vadodara Lok Sabh constituencies. However, Modi preferred to retain Varanasi seat to Vadodara seat. The just concluded by-elections have brought back another BJP candidate Niranjan Bhatt to Lok Sabha from the Vadodara constituency vacated by Modi.

Modi is known for his tech savvy campaigns. He has been successful as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, which ultimately has paved a way for the acceptance of his leadership by the masses as the Prime Minister of India.
