Dasara celebrations all-over India

Dasara is a Hindu festival celebrated across India devotionally, which signifies the victory of god over evil. It is also called Vijayadashami and celebrates as victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahisasura. The festival continues for ten days in which Dasara is the tenth day.

Moreover, the festival Dasara means enjoying a brilliant display of fireworks and for some it marks the end of fasting where it relates to the history of Indian gods. Many of the Hindu festivals are related to great epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata, in which Dasara is one of the main ones.
