Don’t repeat your past mistakes; remain simple: the veteran social activist Anna Hazare gave his most precious advice to Kejriwal. AAP broke all records by winning absolute majority wiping out both Congress and BJP from Delhi’s landscape. What happened to BJP? Seven months back it had rooted out AAP and Congress from Delhi by winning seven Lok Sabha seats. Congress, BJP and AAP have tasted the fire of Aam Aadmi which is like a Tsunami and can demolish any power on earth. RSS Chief always tells his Parivar members to lead a simple life and contribute to social, economic and cultural wellbeing of people.

The life of a RSS pracharak is all about struggle, hunger and simplicity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a RSS pracharak and knew how to lead a simple life at the lowest cost. He himself said in an interview that when he was a pracharak he had to cut the full sleeve of his shirt in order to accommodate it in his small suitcase. That was the spirit and dedication of a pracharak whose only objective is to build a nation. Prime Minister Modi has said he wants to work as a pradhan sevak not as a political leader. The people of this country honored his simplicity as Modi who was a chaewala won the love and sympathy of millions of aam aadmis.

Prime Minister Modi’s societal behavior changed from simple Pracharak to high profile person is not liked by aam aadmi. The opposition leaders started raising their finger at Modi saying how PM Modi with humble background can wear a Rs 10 lakh suit. The Delhi Assembly election result which had pushed BJP to all time low at 3 seats shows aam aadmi's anger is simmering. Kejriwal met the same fate when he asked for bigger government bunglow, Z class security, luxury cars and all kinds luxury items just after he got power in 2013. Indian Aam Aadmi have crushed Congress in the 2014 election because Congress leaders had deviated from the political profession of social service to luxury seeking group.

The Global Strategic Consultant Gallup found that the average suffering in India has more than doubled between 2006-2008 and 2010-2012. In 2012 a full quarter of India was suffering. When people are silently suffering political leader cannot afford to lead life in luxury. In a digital world every gesture of politician is probed by Aam Aadmi who can be angry at any moment. Delhi election is a lesson to BJP who could win only three seats despite desperate attempt to give a close fight. Kejriwal who has promised so many freebies to voters cannot fulfill it. He should not squander away tax payers’ money on populism as freebies have created idle energy all over the country. So Anna Hazare’s piece of advice “don’t repeat your past mistakes; remain simple” is applicable to all Indian politicians. The political leaders must understand that they have entered into a digital world where there action is being watched from all angles.
