For this edition of the three day festival, the Delhi Tourism department has got 13 farmers and nine government institutions to showcase the variety of mangoes.

Giving details about the festival, Dr. RP Srivastav said that there are more than 600 varieties of mangoes this time with deshahri, mallika, chausa, aamrapali, langda, ramkela being the preferred choices.

Abdul Samat, a participating vendor said that he has bought 50 varieties of the fruit this time with sugar free mangoes, sensation and gol makhan being his specialty.

Despite the huge variety at the festival it seems like the early showers of rain this year has take a toll over the king of fruits, as the organisers and the vendors are not happy with the quality of fruit this time.
