Former President APJ Abdul Kalam passed away on Monday in Shillong after he collapsed while delivering a lecture in the Indian Institute of Management at around 6.30 PM.

While the government has announced seven-day national mourning for the former president, Twitteratis from every section of the society - including politicians, celebrities, journalists and students paid tributes to Abdul Kalam and remembered his great works.
